I got to quilt today! In face, I got 4 new blocks put together for my GD's quilt. :) And I have pictures.

I evidently pushed the button to take a picture right as I
pushed the button to turn the camera off, so this picture is
taken through the closing lens protector thingie!

And I am so very excited that we have a new Pope!
And one from South America! His family was Italian,
but had migrated to Buenos Aires. But it was a surprise for me. :)

So, all in all, it's been an excellent day. My phone has rung off the hook and I've had folks stopping by and all good things are going on! I believe I'll have Pizza for dinner and maybe cut our a few more blocks for my Granddaughters quilt!

I heard about the new Pope! And he is YOUNG! LOL. For a pope that is.
And I like that he took Francis after Francis of Assisi! Couldn't be better for animals than that! Maybe he could put some order into our riotous CAAWS meetings! LOL

Oh, and I love your odd photo. My old camera would sometimes fail to open those lens doors all the way and I would get some interesting diagonal shots!
That's the first time that's happened to me! Made for an interesting and odd picture!
I'm very happy with the new Pope... well, so much as I can be since he's not been Pope for even 24 hours! I think he's going to be a very excellent Pope.
