Yes, I'm still alive!

I must tell you that Rudy has taken up so much of my time.  When he first got here, he ate only small amounts, so I was feeding him about ever 2 hours from 6am until 10pm.  It was a lot of work!  I was tickled when he went to every four hours during the day.  And he kept on getting chubby and fat and sassy!  Now we are finally down to 4 meals a day!

Rudy is 7 weeks old now and has had his first 2 sets of puppy shots, so let the socialization begin!  Tomorrow I'm making him his own little collar and leash and he'll be on the go with me!

The weather here is so much better temperature wise.  But humidity wise it's been bad, and that's not real good for my asthma, but we survive!  We've had some really good rains this month and there is a lot of green here now.  I've been pulling weeds like crazy and throwing my back out almost on a daily basis.  ARGH!!

Rudy is so big, he's about 7 pounds now!   Did you say pictures?  Well, I just might have a few to show you!

I swear he's laughing in this picture.  This was taken over the past weekend!

He LOVES his rope toy.  This one has been here for a long time and I'm glad that a dog is finally playing with it!

He also loves tennis balls.  There are many balls in the yard, we call them Magic Balls.... because they belonged to my Magic boy who has been gone for over a year.

Shaking that toy and falling over!

Yup he loves the balls!

He loves Lulu too!  She's been very good with him.  Lulu has a muzzle on because she just LOVES to eat poop!  That white thing in the muzzle is called a stool cup and keeps her from eating poo.  She has IBD and ulcerative colitis, and the last thing she needs to eat is poo!

Rudy likes to chase her tail!

Carrying that ball around in the yard!

I took this one yesterday, he was worn out after playing with me in the yard for almost an hour!

Loves this rope toy!

Learning to carry the rope toy around!

He was spinning in circles here, trying to catch his tail!  Too cute.

Rudy is a doll baby, he makes me laugh and is such a loving little boy.  But he's got to learn that toys are for biting, not mom's pants and legs!  He's doing really well though, I have no complaints.  :)

He's still sleeping through the night, from about 10pm until about 6 or 6:30 in the morning.  I cannot complain about that at all.  :)  But I've gotten less stuff done, less cleaning, less sewing and such!!

Well, time to let him out (I have to go out with him!) and then get everyone settled for bed.  I'm always beat any more at bed time!!
Have a great week and God Bless.  Anne

Wow! Has he changed in just a week. He is so much fun. I am glad you are having fun too!

We have poop eaters here too, but nothing so elaborate. I just yell and run to pick it up faster than the stupid dog. Which never happens.

Did you see my new foster?
