Last night I got a phone call from a really good friend back east.  I've actually never met this person face to face, but I've know her for many years due to the greyhounds.  We had litter mates, very special dogs, sly dogs!  Both those dogs are gone now, but Sue and I will remain friends until we are dead, I love her dearly, like a sister.  :)
Anyhow, Sue called to get some new stuff for the two greyhounds she has left, and to order a gift for someone.  I always make her dogs some gifts when she orders, and sometimes just make em and send em.  So here are the extra's I made for her.....

Sue has a blue dog.  A blue greyhound is kind of rare and is really a dilute black.  They tend to be a little crazy and odd!  But they do look fabulous in purple most of the time! So I made her blue dog, Isis, a purple collar as a gift.   This is a tag collar.

Amber is a brindle and I think this will look great on her!  I used a light orange webbing, same as the orange in the collar.  And the hot pink lining and the great colorful trim!  I love this collar.  This is a tag collar.
 Another view of Amber's collar.

Then for the holiday season I made them Hanukkah collars, matching ones.  Tag collars again, but I think both dogs will look great in them!

Sue ordered some new 4' leashes.  She's like me, I also like the shorter leashes.

And she orders some plain matching tag collars.  They are lined.  :)

Her entire order all in one picture.  I love spoiling her dogs.  :)

She also ordered a harness as a gift to a little girl who is only part greyhound.  The dog's name is JuneBug, so she got her a harness with lady bugs on it!  It turned out so cute, wish I'd remembered to take a picture of it!  I got the harness done today.

Today I also finished up an order for a gal who wanted matching spook harness, leash and martingale collar.  This is the martingale.  I forgot to take a picture of the pink harness, it was so pretty!  This is velvet and it looks great.  Lined in satin of course.  :)

Today while I sewed, I watched Take the Lead, with Antonio Banderas in it.  I LOVE this movie.  And it's based on a true story as well.  Great great movie.  :)  Antonio Banderas is such a hunk, what a guy!
I also watched Steel Magnolias today.  I haven't seen this movie in years, and now I remember why I LOVE this movie.  Sally Fields is such an awesome actress.  And Dolly Parton, Olympia Dukakis, Daryl Hannah, Shirley MacLaine and Julia Roberts.  What a cast, what a movie.  Make one want to run right down south to live in their community!  :)

I've got a pot of beans in the crock pot.  They smell yummy!  I've been doing the HCG diet for a while (and it WORKS!) and I use bean for one of the fruit and veggie servings once a day.  Yummy!

Alrighty, it's getting up there closer to bed time.  I need to hop into the shower and get all scrubbed up for tomorrow!  Have a great Friday and a great weekend!  God Bless, Anne
