Yes, I'm still breathing...

But I wasn't feeling real hot this past weekend.  Friday night I gave myself kind of a black eye, no clue how.  I do remember waking up a bit and I went to rub my eye and some how I ended up scratching it and came wide awake REALLY fast... OUCH.  I was up for hours, rinsed it out and put a cold cloth on it, and finally after about 5 hours it started to feel a little better.  Went back to bed about 5 and the dogs woke me up about 5:50.. I gave up and got up.  Jumped in the shower and then let the dogs out and fed them etc.  Stopped by a neighbors house and that's when she noticed my 'black' eye.  Good grief.  Well, I KNOW it wasn't makeup because I'd washed my face and put the cold cloth on my eye, but it sure was black for a bit, and the side of my nose was sore.  Go figure.

Anyhow, I've not quilted for a LONG time.  I am itching to get back to it.
I got some new Old Stuff on Saturday.. here's some pictures....

This is a Bernina 730 Record.  It sews like a dream!  It's in a cabinet and the drawer space will be nice.  I intend to use this to quilt with!  I love it!

And this is a Singer 301.  It was given to me by a wonderful friend.
It, too, is in a cabinet.  This needs a bushing (or something) replaced and I'll have to find someone to do that.

I love it!

Yeah, I know, I needed more sewing machines like I needed a hole in my head.  But a girl must have a machine to go with every mood... right?

After the machines got delivered on Saturday, I went back to bed for a bit, but the phone kept ringing and I never got back to sleep.  :(
I got up Sunday and felt like warmed over poo, so I spent the day sleeping for the most part.  I went to bed early last night and finally this morning when I got up I felt better.
I had some collar sewing to do today as I do tomorrow as well.

WE finally got some rain here today.  It has cooled us down.  I don't think we've seen 95 degrees for a few days, and that's nice, but I LOTHE humidity.  :)  And with rain comes high humidity.  Rain is good though, we need it badly.

Oh yeah, the repair person came by and he thinks my washer is toast.  It appears that the belts are fine, and it's probably the transmission.  Oy!  Not what I wanted to hear.  :(

Ok, I'm tired and I'm going to get a good nights sleep so I'm raring to go in the morning!  Have a great week and God Bless.   Anne.
