As ye sew, so shall ye rip......

And boy oh boy do I get it!  I decided to work on a swoon block last night.  When I started putting things together, they just didn't seem to fit right... hello ANNE, are you in there girl?  I forgot to square up my HST.  Oy, so I ripped and ripped and then went to bed once everything was apart.  I HATE to rip stuff!
Anyhow, I got up today and then finished putting it back together.    And here it is...

This is block 5.  :)  I like it, I love teal, but to tell you the truth, I'm about tealed out at the moment!

Here's the first 5 and what they would look like all put together.  Without any sashing at all.  And I believe 2" sashing is what I'm going to put in.  I haven't read far enough to see what the pattern says about finishing up, but hey, I'm going to put sashing in.  :)
I cut out a yellow with flowers and light purple for the center stuff... can't wait until I see how that one turns out!  I want to do some pink too, I may just have to make several of these quilts!

There is no way I will ever (ok, never say never but...) attempt such an intricate quilt block! Fantastic job my friend, you must have very good eyes and be a very patient soul!

This block is EASY! It's BIG and that is why it's so easy. It's a very simple combination of HST (half square triangles) and flying geese and 3.5" blocks put together!
Thanks so much for the compliments! YOU could do this one though, and if you want to get the pattern and give it a try, I'd sure be happy to help you from afar!
