My very first Bargello

I made this about 3 years ago. I really had no clue what I was doing and had no help to pick colors or anything else about it. Once I got it pieced, I then hand quilted it. It took me for freaking ever, I did stitch in the ditch on BOTH sides of every vertical seam, and then I put an X through each and every square! It is very well quilted. It's a wall hanging and I gave it to a friend for her birthday. But it sure was a start on my journey of learning about and loving bargello quilts. :)
And this was before I learned how to put borders on a quilt, so it's simply bound. I put no lable on it either! But, all in all, I don't think it came out too badly! :)
